ORICA AWARDS XBULK PILBARA CONTRACT

Xbulk has been appointed by Orica Mining Services to design and develop an AN Storage and handling facility at Rio Tinto’s Iron Ore Gudai-Darri facility in the Pilbara.

Consisting of 2 x 94t AN Transit bins, 2 x Transfer Augers and 2 x Drive Over Auger platforms, the project will allow Toll delivery trucks to unload AN into Xbulk equipment quickly and safely.

Managing Director Craig Miller said,

“Xbulk is seeing continued expansion and demand for our products in the Pilbara region, this particular project will deliver significant capital cost savings versus a fixed install, and being a modular system can be quickly and easily installed.”
